In this comprehensive water treatment course, the student will gain an advanced understanding of facility operations, softening equipment, specialized treatment processes, instrumentation, and safety. Learn to operate and maintain treatment equipment effectively and ensure compliance with drinking water standards and safety programs.

Class schedule:

 

    • December 1-10, 2025: 45 hours of self-paced online learning, with an instructor available to answer questions.

    • December 10-19, 2025: Weekday, in-person lectures and laboratory activities at NWP Grande Prairie campus.

This class is eligible for 12.0 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits through the Government of Alberta Water and Wastewater Operator Certification Program.
