Learners must successfully complete the online entry program provided by Alberta Transportation and the CLP01 - Class 1 Learning Pathways - Core Learning course and successfully pass the Class 1 road test (with Alberta restriction) in order to register for the CLP01 - Competence Building Course

This course provides 17-25 hours of in-yard and in-cab lessons to ready learners to drive outside of Alberta.

There is no waiting period, learners can register immediately after successfully completing the prerequisites.
