If your work requires the use or operation of aerial lifts, including scissor and articulated lifts, this training course is for you. In full compliance with Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety standards, the Aerial Lift Operator program covers all skills required for safe aerial lift operation, including pre-operation inspections, safety and emergency procedures, and fall protection. You will work under the guidance of an experienced instructor, combining theory and practice to gain a comprehensive understanding of aerial lift operation. Becoming a certified aerial lift operator can help advance your career in a range of fields, including construction, warehousing, or live event and stage management.

Special Notice
You must be 18 or older and have a valid government-issued driver’s license.
Learners must bring the following personal safety equipment:  

 

  • Steel-toed boots

  • Coveralls or long steeve shirt and full-length pants

  • Full-body harness (recommended)

  • 4-ft non-shock absorbing lanyard (recommended)
