Get the tools you need to identify and respond to intimate partner violence.

Offered in partnership with PACE Centre, this workshop will give you a comprehensive understanding of different forms of intimate partner violence (IPV) and offer ways to help someone navigate their way out of an abusive relationship. The Intimate Partner Violence workshop is recommended for anyone who regularly works with survivors of IPV, including law enforcement, healthcare, and social work professionals.

The course covers the following:
  • How to recognize the warning signs and risk factors of IPV

  • Effects of IPV on relationships and families

  • Strategies for risk assessment and safe intervention

  • How to find and access community resources for survivors of IPV

This one-day workshop is offered via videoconference.
