Class 3 Driver Training

NWP’s Class 3 driver training prepares you to take the Class 3 road test with confidence.

With 18 hours, 3 days of in truck/in yard instruction, you will gain hands on experience with expert coaching to build your skills behind the wheel. Class 3 drivers are authorized to drive large commercial vehicles with three or more axles, including pump trucks, cement mixers, vacuum trucks, and more.

Requirements:

• Learners must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with the GDL removed.
• Must have the Air Brakes Q Endorsement completed
• Must have the Class 3 Knowledge Test completed (within the past year)

PPE Requirements - Boots/shoes that cover the ankle (No portion of the ankle may be showing, also they must be a snug fit or have laces); Weather-appropriate clothing (that can get dirty) - pants - no shorts unless you have coveralls; Safety vest, safety glasses, gloves.
