Supportive Care Assistant Certificate (SCA-C) Information

With a focus on non-clinical activities that support clients and the health care team the Supportive Care Assistant Certificate program provides basic skills and information to learners who are interested in non-regulated entry level employment in long term home care settings and group homes.

Special Notice 

The program consists of an Online component, Standard First Aid and CPR and a Food Safety course.  Fees for each component are charged separately. 

This course MUST be completed within 90 days. 
 

IMPORTANT 

People working in health care industries typically must provide a clear Police Information Check prior to employment.
