Regulatory Requirements of Water and Wastewater Operators

This course will introduce the codes, regulations, and standards applicable to water and wastewater operations. The obligations of operators under the Act will be covered. Students will be introduced to the certification portal.

The 64-hour class will be split into two sessions at NWP Grande Prairie campus. Students can complete the class as part of the Water and Wastewater Technician Certificate or individually to receive Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.

This class is eligible for 6.4 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits through the Government of Alberta Water and Wastewater Operator Certification Program.
