Wastewater Collection Systems I

This course covers wastewater collection systems, detailing their purpose, components, design, and velocity and flow calculations. The student will also learn about hazard identification and mitigation, inspection and testing methods, pipeline cleaning, maintenance tools and techniques, and the safety aspects of underground pipeline repair and construction.

Class schedule:

 

  • 7.5 Days: 45 hours of self-paced online learning, with an instructor available to answer questions.

  • 7.5 Days: Weekday, in-person lectures and laboratory activities at NWP Grande Prairie campus.

This class is eligible for 9.0 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits through the Government of Alberta Water and Wastewater Operator Certification Program.
