Water Treatment II

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of water treatment, covering plant operations, coagulation, filtration, sedimentation, disinfection, corrosion control, and taste/odor management. Gain practical knowledge and expertise in the responsible management of water sources, reservoirs, intake structures, and laboratory techniques.

Class Schedule: 

 

  • 7 Days: 45 hours of self-paced online learning, with an instructor available to answer questions.
  • 7 Days: Weekday, in-person lectures and laboratory activities at NWP Grande Prairie campus.

This class is eligible for 9.6 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits through the Government of Alberta Water and Wastewater Operator Certification Program.
